IF YOU HAVE BEEN KEEPING AN EYE ON DÉCOR CLADDING CENTRE YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE NOTICED THAT WE HAVE CHANGED OUR NAME TO DÉCOR WALLS & FLOORING. THIS YEAR WE DECIDED THAT WITH THE NEW DIRECTION OF THE COMPANY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS – IT WAS TIME FOR A REBRANDING.
Since founded in 2004 our core business has rapidly changed in the process over the years.
WHY DÉCOR WALLS & FLOORING REBRANDED
Our previous name evolved out of our original business model which was supplying cladding to trade and the general product for mainly bathroom renovation since then we have come a long way. This was not aligned with how we are actually evolving and where the product was taking us. By 2019 our product range had moved us deep in industry evolution with major changes in HD printing – better quality panels – easier fitting – and the products rapidly becoming more applicable to more rooms in the house other than the bathroom. When your website no longer speaks to your customer targets, its time to rebrand.
HOW DID WE START THE REBRAND?
We approached our rebranding as we approach taking on new product lines. By carrying out due diligence early on, the name change would take shape accordingly. Through weekly meetings and going into rigorous detail, we went step by step through a company analysis. We conducted interviews with our suppliers and noted any key messages our customers care about through focus groups. A brand audit was completed, evaluating what our current brand was doing to convey these messages, if at all and then looked at how we could improve this. This was imperative to have this communication internally to make sure that everyone was on the same page in understanding who our company is appealing to and how we can solve their problem to demonstrate our value.
Through discussion and process we found that this helped us to manifest the vision. We concentrated on the following main questions -
WE LOVE OUR NEW LOGO AND NAME CHANGE – It represents so much of what Décor Walls & Flooring is and will become in the future in a single logo. Here is what or new logo represents…
Décor has been at the heart of the business through the years and represents the concept to finish off the decoration of a room to make it a home. With our growing range of differing panels, flooring and bathroom furniture décor really does represent a home interior.
Offering a huge range of wall panels both decorative, reliable and robust they have evolved over the years and we have moved away from the word cladding as it has become refined and our customers now have the option of paneling their bedrooms, kitchens and living areas to create great feature walls with on trend high resolution printed panels.
Flooring has become a huge part of our core business and product offering – this has grown hence wanting to serve our customers in as many ways as possible to cater for customers needs and making it as convenient as possible.
